HtR Training specialises in providing fundamental Management Courses in the areas of:
Financial Acumen Training - aimed at individuals who need to be able to understand ‘the numbers’ and carry out basic interpretations of them. The training covers both the ‘balance sheet’ and ‘profit and loss accounts’ with a focus on balance sheet analysis, financial ratios and financial Key Performance Indicators. It aims to provide an individual with an understanding of financial information so they can draw conclusions and identify areas of concern (or for further investigation). The longer courses are more ‘business financial management’ in content with courses on offer being 1, 2 or 3 days in length.
Appraisal Skills Training - which covers the basic concepts and methodology required to be able to appraise a member of staff well. It is also very ‘practically’ focussed in order to demonstrate what can be ‘best practice’ and ‘bad practice’. A key part is focussed upon showing delegates how to ‘challenging an individual to top performance’ including ‘stretch targets’. Courses are either 1 or 2 days depending upon the individuals background and experience.
Coaching / Mentoring Skills Training - which focuses on not just the ‘easy’ parts of coaching staff members, but also enabling the delegates to ‘Challenge Staff to Top Performance’. The content is ‘open’ although core areas are covered and a major focus is upon gaining commitment to actions and ‘buy in’ rather than compliance by fear.
- Single delegate (1-2-1 Training provided) - £725 + VAT per day
- Two to Ten delegates - Trainer £1,200 + VAT per day plus £100 + VAT per delegate
Courses are delivered locally across the UK. Minimum of one delegate and a maximum of ten delegates per course.
