Financial Acumen Training
Aimed at individuals who work within a business and need to be able to understand ‘the numbers’ in order to effectively run / monitor a business but who do not have a strong accountancy background. The training covers understanding Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss Accounts with a focus on analysis, financial ratios and financial Key Performance Indicators. It aims to provide an individual with an understanding of financial information so they can draw conclusions and identify areas of concern (or for further investigation).
Appraisal Skills Training
A key performance management tool is staff appraisals. To gain the most from these events a manager needs to bring the staff member along with them, gaining commitment and staff buy-in, focusing activity towards stretch targets. Our training shows managers appraisal techniques and concepts (such as using the ‘GROW Model’), and how to prepare effectively for an appraisal.
This is followed by a number of practical exercises where delegates practice appraisal skills receiving feedback and guidance from our trainers. A key part is focused upon showing delegates how to challenge an individual to top performance including the use of Stretch Targets.
Trainers can either work on a 1-2-1 or group basis
- Single delegate (1-2-1 Training provided) £ 725 + VAT per course
- Two to Ten delegates (per course) £ 1,200 + VAT per course
